Start your career or discover new opportunities at one of the UK’s most loved travel companies, Trailfinders

Trailfinders is the multi-award-winning market leader in tailor-made travel, offering our clients unbeatable value and exceptional service since 1970. And we’re seeking enthusiastic people to join our team.

Over the past 55 years, we have built an industry-leading reputation for helping our clients plan their dream trips. Trailfinders offers an incredible range of flights, tours, hotels, cars and motorhome hire across the globe – from budget to luxury, we have something for everyone.

CAREER OPTIONS

At Trailfinders, we regularly recruit travel consultants who look after our clients on the phone and face to face, building strong relationships to plan, advise and sell bespoke travel itineraries. At our head office in London, we also have sales support roles working in customer service and administration. Plus, no travel industry experience is required, because we provide full training.

An additional benefit for travel consultants is the opportunity to take part in the Level 3 Travel Consultant Apprenticeship programme (eligibility checks apply). This involves a comprehensive 12-month schedule, after which successful apprentices will receive a Level 3 qualification equivalent to two A-levels.

COMPANY CULTURE

We live and breathe travel, so you would be working with like-minded individuals who are passionate about what they do, in a friendly and sociable office environment. We have more than 1,100 staff in 47 travel centres across the UK and Ireland.

We also try to give back: Trailfinders has donated more than ÂŁ100 million to charities for medical research, military veterans and community projects, while our partnership with the Woodland Trust has helped to plant more than one million trees.

As a home-grown company, we are proud to offer genuine career prospects – we’re committed to in-house promotion and staff development. Trailfinders has one of the best remuneration packages in the industry and excellent travel perks.

3 of the best things about my job

Esther Levin
Sales team leader

  • The training and development are amazing. I have been supported in learning the systems and coached on how best to handle clients’ enquiries, as well as achieving a distinction in the Level 3 Travel Consultant Apprenticeship.
  • The incredible benefits make you feel appreciated and rewarded, from incentives to heavily discounted holidays and educational trips. I have been lucky enough to go on my first safari, see the Great Wall of China and explore Saint Lucia.
  • Career progression is clear and efficient. Promotions are target based so that you can measure your progress and set objectives accordingly. There are ample opportunities to apply for leadership roles – I joined Trailfinders in October 2023 and I am proud to be a sales team leader already.
